The owner of an eclectic gift shop in Wyandotte may have found a new storefront.
From Living Local Monroe, the downtown area is growing as Glow Fish Studios is seeking a new space at 27 E Front Street. This would be the team’s second location in the state. Owner Vanessa Morse told What Now Detroit this is just a proposal, so no opening date has been announced.
The Wyandotte spot sells many kinds of different home decor, jewelry, books, journals and spiritual products. Morse has many different zodiac-themed items like crystals and necklaces. Puzzle games, collectible figures and strategy games are also sold.
Morse opened Glow Fish Studios in 2013, and it fit right in with the other boutique and gift shops in the area. For the new location, it will sell many of the same products and not be a new concept.
The Monroe storefront is on the southwest side of the intersection of W Front Street, across from Amaya’s Fresh Mexican Grill. Nocturnal coffee shop is also at the intersection. This is also close to The Michigan Museum of Horror.
More information on Glow Fish Studios and the future location can be found on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
