Sami’s Gyro House is expanding its reach once again, this time heading to Katy with a third Houston-area location. The new outpost is set for 23445 Kingsland Blvd, marking another milestone for the local Mediterranean concept known for its savory gyros and laid-back service.
Owner Yousaf Mohtsham confirmed the news, sharing that the opportunity presented itself at the right time. “It was a good opportunity, so I grabbed it,” Mohtsham said. With two existing locations already operating in the region, this third venture reflects the brand’s steady and intentional growth. However, he emphasized that there are no immediate plans to franchise or expand further—at least for now.
The focus will remain on consistency and quality as the new Katy location gets up and running. Mohtsham mentioned that while the current menu will carry over, they’re open to developing new offerings once operations are stable. Once settled, changes may potentially come in the form of fresh dishes or seasonal specials.
Guests in Katy can look forward to enjoying Sami’s signature gyros, falafel, shawarma, and more in a convenient new setting. The opening is projected for the end of June or beginning of July 2025.
