Kinzuu Izakaya is one of the newest concepts to hit the Valley this year. According to a Clark County permit, the new Asian fusion eatery is slated to open in the Southwest, Enterprise area at 7395 S Rainbow Blvd, Ste. 120.
The business owner listed is 999 Izakaya LLC, but the number was attached to Thonguthai LLC. Sasithon Phothidokmai is listed as the owner of the 999 Izakaya LLC, and Prachatouch Thonguthaisiri is listed as the owner of Thonguthai LLC. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Phothidokmai and Thonguthaisiri, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
With very little online presence, there isn’t a whole lot of information available about Kinzuu Izakaya. However, the brand does have an Instagram page.
“Something new is coming to the table,” an Instagram post on the brand’s social page reads.
“Japanese craft meets the bold soul of Thai Isan. Fire, flavor, and tradition reimagined. KINZUU IZAKAYA Coming soon.”
The Thai Isan style of cooking refers to the distinct, bold, and rustic culture of primarily Northeastern Thailand. Known for being intensely spicy, sour, and funky, it emphasizes fresh herbs, fermented fish paste, and sticky rice rather than coconut milk. It is often described as “country-style” comfort food.
While there’s no word just yet on what exactly will be on the menu, Thai Isan signature dishes include Som Tum (papaya salad), Larb (minced meat salad), Kor Moo Yang (grilled pork neck), Sai Krok Isan (fermented sausage), and Tom Saap (sour/spicy soup).
Kinzuu Izakaya is expected to open in the former Diasho Sushi Lounge near the Rainbow Village Shopping Center at the intersection of S Rainbow Blvd and W Warm Springs Rd.
As we inch closer towards opening, we’re sure more information will come to light. So, keep your eyes open and your ears perked for the latest.
