A 100% gluten-free bakery will get its first brick-and-mortar location, taking over the former space of 17 Berkshire at 2094 Trimble Place, according to a certificate of occupancy filed with the city of Memphis.

The owner of Jacques Louise Bakery, Savannah Kenney, wrote on Instagram that they are “still nailing down the exact opening date” for the storefront and that “we are working non-stop to make the transition as quick as possible! We will be converting the kitchen/store into a strictly gluten free kitchen to be up to our Celiac safe standards.”

According to the website, the bakery was doing delivery orders or pick-up from a case at Snapdragon Floral. The business offers cakes, cookies, pies, breads and dairy-free options, among others, though all orders have been paused until further notice because of a fire, according to the website.
