It looks like a new Subway site is coming to Memphis.
According to recent permits filed with Develop901, the multinational sub shop will soon occupy Suite 113 at 431 S Highland St.
The 1,100-square-foot restaurant space will undergo minor renovations totaling approximately $20,000. Once complete, the eatery will seat up to 15 guests.
Boasting roughly 37,000 locations worldwide, Subway operates over 40 sites in the Memphis area alone. Another location on S Highland St closed a couple of years ago.
Subway is known for its healthier fast food options, offering a variety of subs such as the Italian B.M.T., Turkey Breast, and Veggie Delite.
Additionally, the chain recently introduced a ‘Sidekicks’ menu, featuring a collection of four new footlong snacks: the Footlong Cookie, Cinnabon Footlong Churro, Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel, and the Footlong Dipper.
Franchisee Smit Patel has not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Memphis, so keep an eye out for opening day details.
