Sushi can be intimidating to even the most fearless eaters. Fortunately, Rock N’ Roll Sushi has entered the dining scene with the admirable goal of making the delicious dish more accessible to those trepidatious about taking their first wasabi dip. The chain is eying two new greater Memphis locations, reports the Memphis Business Journal.
The duo of storefronts will be helmed by local franchisees Cody and Kristen McPherson and Aaron and Sidney Duty. The partner quartet have signed on to open three regional Rock N’ Roll Sushi spots, with the first in development in Jonesboro. However, the franchise team is vetting locations in Paragould and Searcy for their remaining restaurants.
An opening timeline is not presently available, as specific locations have not been selected and leases have not yet been signed.
Rock N’ Roll Sushi describes itself as “American-style sushi”. The restaurant has been feeding happy customers since its founding in Alabama in 2010. The menu features some very familiar faces, like the shrimp tempura roll and tuna roll, alongside wild-cards like the Japanese bagel roll or the reggae roll.
