A new venue led by the owner of a former Hawaii-based hemp company is coming to Memphis.

Mark White has recently filed permits to open Tokyo Nights at 6110 Macon Rd. White, who previously owned a Hawaii hemp shop called Pinky’s Hempire, confirmed this news with What Now Memphis but did not provide further details about the forthcoming establishment.

However, permits reveal that the 8,452-square-foot space will serve as both a restaurant and nightclub and accommodate up to 275 occupants. While specific details about the cuisine remain unknown, the name suggests that patrons can expect a variety of Japanese dishes.

Stay tuned for further updates.
