Germantown shoppers, get ready to welcome back an old favorite. Bed, Bath & Beyond hasn’t had an area presence since 2020, but thanks to a collaboration with the Container Store, the home goods store will soon be making a comeback to the area, reports Daily Memphian.

Bed, Bath & Beyond’s return comes as a result of an overhaul of the Germantown Collection Container Store located at 2130 Exeter Road, Suite 103. The development is part of a larger move towards incorporating the two concepts into one convenient location where shoppers can find all of their needs.

Work is underway to fuse the two brands, bringing Bed, Bath & Beyond’s signature inventory into the Container Store.

Bed, Bath & Beyond has been a powerful presence in the interior home supply market since its launch in 1987. Its fusion with the Container Store is a major development for the two brands. Germantown’s economic and community development director Cameron Ross believes the merger will draw more shoppers to the region as well as boosting the economy in other ways. He states: “I think anything that adds additional sales-tax revenue is a good thing to bring back to Germantown.”
