C.R. Chicks is bringing its popular rotisserie chicken concept to Avenir Town Center.

The center has updated its expanding roster of restaurants and retailers at the mixed-use destination in Palm Beach Gardens. The restaurant will be part of the 200,000-square-foot town center, located at Northlake Boulevard and Avenir Drive, which is expected to begin opening in phases during the rest of 2026. The announcement was made on the Avenir Town Center website. At this point,  its anchors, Publix and Walgreens, are the first establishments open at the center.

Founded in 1992, C.R. Chicks has become a Palm Beach County institution, earning a loyal following for its Brazilian oak-fired rotisserie chicken, fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads and homemade sides. In 2024, the company was acquired by an investment group led by Jonathan Luther, Jon Luther Sr. and Dan Bowers, with co-founder Chris Sallen remaining involved as an advisor. Today, the brand operates seven locations throughout Palm Beach County and continues to expand.

Developed as the commercial centerpiece of the 4,752-acre Avenir master-planned community, Avenir Town Center is designed to serve residents and visitors with shopping, dining, offices and everyday services in a walkable, golf cart-friendly environment. Confirmed tenants include H&H Bagels, Carmela Coffee, Field of Greens, Smoke & Maple Gastropub, Sloan’s Ice Cream, Tenka Sushi, Seppe Pizza Bar and numerous service businesses, with additional tenants expected to be announced as the project nears completion.
