Kung Fu Chicken is expanding its South Florida footprint.

The company recently files permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a new location at 12536 SW 88th Street in Miami. The restaurant’s website confirms the new location, simply adding that it is “coming soon“. The fast-casual restaurant specializes in Taiwanese-style fried chicken and street food.

Founded by chef Yu Bi and Dr. Tingjun Lei, Kung Fu Chicken has built a loyal following for its signature fried chicken cutlets, popcorn chicken, chicken sandwiches and bubble tea. Inspired by the night markets of Taiwan, the restaurant combines traditional Asian street-food flavors with a modern fast-casual dining experience. Menu favorites include spicy chicken cutlets, loaded fries, rice bowls and a variety of fruit teas and milk teas.

The expansion reflects Kung Fu Chicken’s commitment to bringing authentic Taiwanese flavors to  neighborhoods throughout South Florida while maintaining the quality and freshness that have helped fuel its growth. Located in the heart of Kendall, near several residential communities, schools and retail centers, the new restaurant is expected to attract diners looking for a quick and flavorful meal.
