Nashville-based 51st Deli is continuing its local growth with a new restaurant headed to 730 Main Street in East Nashville. According to a Metro permit first reported by the Nashville Business Journal, the deli will occupy space at The Jesse, a mixed-use development by Richland Building Partners.
The publication reports that The Jesse will feature 58 short-term rental units and more than 5,600 square feet of ground-floor commercial space alongside its retail tenants.
“We’re thrilled to welcome 51st Deli to our newest development, The Jesse,” Richland Building Partners CEO Chris Barnhizer said in a statement shared with the Nashville Business Journal. “Their food and energy are exactly what we envisioned for this space, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner to further activate East Nashville’s Main Street and the building itself.”
According to the Nashville Business Journal, Carim Yafai founded 51st Deli in The Nations in 2018 before expanding the concept to West End, Charlotte Pike and Brentwood. The deli offers dine-in and carry-out service with a menu featuring breakfast and lunch sandwiches, tacos, a salad bar, fresh juices and catering.
An opening timeline for the East Nashville location has not yet been announced.
