Bojangles is taking over an existing fast-food restaurant at 336 Harding Place in South Nashville, according to a recently issued Metro Nashville commercial building permit.

The permit authorizes the rehabilitation of an existing restaurant building at the site, and the scope of work suggests the property may be converted into a Bojangles. The permit calls for a substantial renovation of the existing restaurant, including interior and exterior upgrades to prepare the building for its next occupant.

The Bojangles team confirmed to WhatNow Nashville that this will be a company-owned location rather than a franchised restaurant and is currently slated to open in mid-November, although the timeline remains subject to change. They also confirmed that another company-owned restaurant is planned for Murfreesboro Pike, with that location also expected to open during the fourth quarter of this year.

According to Bojangles’ website, the company has grown into a regional quick-service restaurant chain known for its Southern-inspired menu. Guests can find hand-breaded bone-in fried chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits baked throughout the day, breakfast served all day at many locations, chicken sandwiches, tenders, family meals, and a variety of classic sides such as Bo-Tato Rounds, macaroni and cheese, dirty rice, seasoned fries, coleslaw, and Cajun pinto beans. The brand also offers sweet tea, lemonade, and seasonal limited-time menu items throughout the year.
