Leiper’s Fork Distillery to Open 9,000-square-foot Space in Mid-2026
According to the press release, the new venue will sit just west of the Pinnacle Tower at Nashville Yards. It will anchor the entire ground floor of a corten steel-clad, two-story, 18,500-square-foot boutique building at the mixed-use development.
The distillery will have a view of the rail lines that run just beside it. It will also have a large patio space that overlooks the Ascension Saint Thomas Landing, Nashville Yards’ open green space park.
Its location makes it a short walk from anywhere in Nashville Yards and even into downtown.
Features to Look Forward To
In the press release, Leiper’s Fork Distillery said that the planned location at Nashville Yards will include various features. It will have on-site whiskey production and a bar offering in-house spirits and curated flights.
The space will also include a restaurant, retail store, and private tasting room. The distillery will also host a regular artist showcase series on the stage within the space.
Moreover, it announced that it would open up for tours. Distillation will run five days a week, while the restaurant and shop will operate six days a week.
Leiper’s Fork Distillery Continues to Grow
Leiper’s Fork Distillery is known for producing small-batch premium whiskeys made by hand using traditional techniques. It was founded by distiller Lee Kennedy in 2016 and produces 25,000 gallons yearly, according to the press release.
The release also said Leiper’s Fork Distillery’s expansion to Nashville Yards will allow it to scale production. They plan to move one of their 500-gallon stills, “Ginger,” to Nashville Yards. A 1,000-gallon system will take its place at the distillery back in Williamson County.
“As a Tennessee distillery and as someone who grew up in Nashville, I’m incredibly excited to expand to Nashville Yards. This move allows us to share our story of authentic grain-to-glass whiskey production with a broader audience in the heart of downtown,” Kennedy said in a statement in the release.
Cary Mack, Managing Partner of Southwest Value Partners, said in a statement, “Leiper’s Fork Distillery at Nashville Yards will masterfully distill and showcase much of what we love about Nashville—friendship, whiskey, great bites, and live music—in one incredible setting at some of the most uniquely beautiful architecture we have designed into Nashville Yards.”
Nashville Yards also made the announcement through their Instagram page.
