Houston’s Meat and Produce, located at 3930 N Mt. Juliet Road, has plans to expand their site.

Houston’s will be adding store space as well as more seating areas for customers who would like to enjoy the food served at the market on the premises, according to reporting by The Tennessean.

The plans for the spot also appear to include additional building space that can be leased to other tenants, according to the article.

Houston’s has been operating in the Nashville area for more than 20 years. Owned by Chris Houston, the son of the founder Jerry Houston, the spot serves as an old-fashioned butcher shop, caterer and restaurant. In addition to meats, it serves a traditional breakfast menu and a rotating lunch and dinner menu. Menu items include pot roast, meatloaf and jumbo shrimp.

“If you’re looking for a unique, culinary experience, visit Houston’s Meat & Produce,” the Houston’s website reads. “Let us cut you a tender steak, serve you a local, legendary taco salad, or make you a homemade chicken salad sandwich. Our commitment to quality products and outstanding service has made us staples in our community.”

As of now, it is unclear when expansion plans will be completed on the spot.
