Restaurateurs Robbie Wilson and Emily Perry-Wilson have a new restaurant concept cooking up in Nashville.
They already plan to open Lion’s Share next year in the space formerly home to McCabe Pub. Now, they have added another concept, SuperNormal, to the mix, with plans to open it next door to Lion’s Share.
They are using the overflow parking area on the site to create a dog-friendly artificial lawn with lights, picnic tables and a small white building, according to the Nashville Business Journal.
The spot will serve as a gathering space, serving American classics like burgers, soft serve ice cream, hot dogs and fries. The menu will also offer wine and beer.
“It’s just going to be a place to gather. When you’re walking your dog, you could go have an ice cream. You can have a beer with your friends,” Robbie Wilson told the Business Journal.
There will be kiosks and a walk-up window for ordering items. SuperNormal will serve lunch and dinner.
The Wilsons told the Business Journal that they plan to open the spot in early spring.
Robbie Wilson was previously part of several restaurants in the Nashville area before relocating to California in 2012, where he opened acclaimed restaurants such as BIRD DOG with his wife. BIRD DOG closed in September as the Wilsons relocated back to Nashville this year to work on their new projects.
Eventually, they hope to expand the SuperNormal brand to more locations.
