A new Tim Hortons could be headed to 4097 Nolensville Pike in South Nashville, according to a permit recently filed with Metro. The proposed restaurant would occupy a former Arby’s building, the Nashville Business Journal reported, though an opening timeline has not yet been announced.
The project marks another step in the brand’s continued growth across the region. Tim Hortons opened a Donelson location last summer, and the Nolensville Pike site would give the chain a presence along one of South Nashville’s busiest commercial corridors.
Founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, by professional hockey player Tim Horton, the company has grown from a single coffee and doughnut shop into Canada’s largest quick-service restaurant chain. According to the company’s website, the brand now operates more than 5,000 restaurants worldwide, including more than 600 locations throughout the United States.
While Tim Hortons is best known for its Original Blend coffee, doughnuts, and bite-sized Timbits, the menu also includes espresso-based beverages, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, wraps, muffins, cookies, and specialty drinks such as the Iced Capp, according to the company’s website.
What Now Nashville reached out to franchise owner Naren Patel but did not receive a response by the time of publication. Updates will be provided as additional details become available.
