Boutique Hotel Broome Debuts French-Mediterranean Bistro in SoHo
The Broome Hotel, a boutique hotel in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, has entered a new chapter with the opening of a French-Mediterranean restaurant and bar. It is located at 431 Broome Street in a nearly 200-year-old building, built around a historic courtyard. The debut also marks the launch of 18 Main‘s flagship New York City property following an extensive reimagining of the hotel.
The restaurant’s design combines the sophistication of New York with the warmth of the Mediterranean and the charm of the French countryside. The interiors were designed by Sonoé Architecture & Design Studio and feature art, books, and collected objects.
The courtyard connects the hotel’s lobby, restaurant, bar, and guest rooms. This creates a quiet gathering space in the middle of downtown Manhattan.
Liron Sanado, who has led Broome’s operations for the past two and a half years, guides the vision behind Broome’s latest transformation. Carson Ray serves as the restaurant’s general manager and helped develop its food and beverage program.
Broome’s 14 redesigned rooms and suites are expected to reopen in January 2027.
Chef Moshe Masarty and the Menu

Broome’s new restaurant focuses on French cuisine with Mediterranean influences. The menu highlights seasonal ingredients, seafood, grilled meats, fresh herbs, and a curated wine selection.
Chef Moshe Masarty leads the kitchen at Broome. He has more than 10 years of international experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, and restaurant development. This includes his work in Michelin-starred restaurants in Thailand and Japan.
The dinner menu features dishes such as tuna sashimi bruschetta, foie gras, caviar, tuna tartare, and beef tartare. It also offers calamari, branzino, filet mignon, chicken paillard, and an Angus burger. Pasta options include lemon spaghettoni and spicy gemelli.
Dessert options include olive oil chocolate cake with sea salt and crème fraîche, as well as crème pâtissier with thyme crumble and strawberries. The restaurant also offers five signature cocktails, including the Yuzu Martini, Garden Fizz, Blackberry Jalapeño Mezcal, White Hour, and Golden Snifter.
The restaurant expands SoHo’s dining scene with a French-Mediterranean concept housed inside one of the neighborhood’s historic boutique hotels.
