Palermo Argentinian Bistro Opening Its Third Manhattan Location

Manhattan is welcoming its third Palermo Argentinian Bistro location this week. The new restaurant will open on June 11 at 55 Grand Street in SoHo. It is owned by founder Orhan Cakir, executive chef Carlos Barroz, and wine director Jorge Albarracin.
The restaurant will offer a traditional Argentine steakhouse experience. It is inspired by the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The restaurant will open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Fridays from 3 p.m. to midnight, and on weekends from noon to midnight.
The opening of the restaurant coincides with the start of the FIFA World Cup. Palermo SoHo plans to show tournament matches on televisions throughout the bar area and on a projector screen in the dining room. The restaurant will open early for Argentina’s matches.
Menu Highlights

Cordoba, Argentina native Chef Carlos Barroz has created the menu. It features wood-fired grilled meats, fresh seafood, house-made breads, and sauces. The wine selection is focused on Argentine producers.
The menu includes skirt steak, picanha, sweetbreads, chorizo, morcilla, and a Parrillada for Two. It also offers beef empanadas, tuna tartare with crispy quinoa, whole branzino, and humita. The desserts made with dulce de leche are also available on the menu. The SoHo location will also offer new pasta and salad dishes that are exclusive to the restaurant.
Palermo SoHo is set to become a new gathering spot for both soccer fans and diners.
