Lidl US announced that it will open the store on September 30 at 1545 Forest Avenue in Staten Island, New York. The location will offer quality items at affordable prices.
According to the official announcement, the new store will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:40 a.m. The opening celebration will include freshly baked croissants, coffee, special deals, and a first look at the store’s products. Following the opening, the store will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Lidl US currently operates more than 200 stores across nine East Coast states. The Staten Island opening will give local shoppers another option for fresh groceries and everyday essentials.
What Shoppers Can Expect
The new Lidl store in Staten Island will feature four seasonal bakery items through Lidl’s Special Guest bakery program. Products include Berry Blast Muffin, Lemon Poppy Scone, Sweet Potato Bread, and Pumpkin Cake Pop.
The new store will feature fresh bread and pastries baked throughout the day, private-label products and global imports, fresh produce, and other locally sourced items. Featured products include 49-cent butter croissants, Bon Gelati mini mix ice cream bars, Snack Day wavy potato chips, and Alesto raw cashews.
The Staten Island Lidl store will offer weekly discounts, rotating deals, and non-food products such as kitchenware, home decor, and fitness items. It will also include Lidl Plus rewards, personalized coupons, and member offers.
