ALDI will open its first Midtown Manhattan store on June 19, 2026. The store will offer its signature products and labels at discounted prices, making shopping affordable for patrons.
ALDI Will Debut in Midtown Manhattan
The new ALDI will open at 311 West 42nd Street, on the ground floor of The Ellery near Times Square. The Midtown location is part of ALDI’s ongoing national expansion effort. ALDI aims to open 3,200 stores by the end of 2028.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the grand opening at 8:30 a.m. on June 19. The first 200 customers will receive the ALDI Golden Ticket and a gift bag containing various ALDI products. Limited-edition ALDI NYC tote bags will also be available while supplies last.
“At our Midtown store, New Yorkers will see why so many already choose ALDI for their weekly grocery trip,” said Chris Daniels, regional vice president for ALDI.
Daniels added that the company looks forward to delivering affordable grocery options to one of the city’s iconic neighborhoods.
What’s Inside the Store for Shoppers
The Midtown location will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will offer the same streamlined shopping experience found at other ALDI stores. Customers can expect budget-friendly pricing that has helped make ALDI a popular grocery destination across the country.
Nearly 90% of the products sold in the store will be ALDI-exclusive brands. Shoppers can buy fresh produce, organic meats, sustainable seafood, specialty cheeses, and other grocery essentials to suit various tastes and lifestyles.
The store will also have ALDI Finds, the retailer’s rotating line of limited-time items. Each week, the selection will contain seasonal foods, home and garden, decor, and pet products.
Customers can also enjoy convenient shopping features like grocery delivery and curbside pickup, making shopping as easy as possible.
