Down-Lite has filed a notice under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act on April 28, 2026. The company plans to close two Ohio facilities, impacting jobs. The closures follow the company’s sale to Live Comfortably.
Down-Lite Announces Closure of Two Ohio Facilities
Down-Lite International Inc. filed the WARN notice with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. The Ohio-based bedding manufacturer confirmed the closure of facilities at 8153 Duke Blvd in Mason and 11093 Kenwood Rd in Blue Ash.
The closures will affect 164 employees. The announcement follows the sale of the business to Live Comfortably. Operations will be consolidated with Live Comfortably’s existing facilities.
Layoffs are expected to begin June 19 and conclude by July 2, 2026. According to the filing, the company provided the required 60-day notice to all the affected employees. The filing states employees will receive wages and benefits through their termination date.
