An upscale American restaurant chain is expanding in Pennsylvania with plans to open its second location in the state.

Burtons Grill & Bar will debut in the redeveloped Barn Plaza shopping center at 1745 S. Easton Rd.

Phase I of the project wrapped up in the third quarter of 2025, introducing Bucks County’s first Whole Foods Market, a new Barnes & Noble, First Watch, Chipotle and The Juice Pod. Brixmor Property Group is now moving forward with Phase II.

“After the success of Phase I, Phase II allows us to reimagine an underutilized site and turn it into a vibrant mix of best‑in‑class retailers. We’re unlocking the full potential of Barn Plaza and setting the stage for long‑term growth,” VP of redevelopment William Greimel said in a statement.

Phase II will replace the former Regal Cinema with three multi-tenant buildings totaling 46,000 square feet.

Joining Burtons Grill & Bar at the shopping center will be Shake Shack, Just Salad, Naya, Sephora and Starbucks.

Burtons Grill & Bar offers an all-day menu with sharable appetizers, salads, sandwiches, fresh seafood, prime steaks and classic American entrees. The restaurant also has a brunch menu, a gluten-free menu and happy hour specials, including $9 bar bites.

The restaurant’s classic entrees include braised short ribs with cabernet au jus, bacon Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes; chicken piccata with angel hair pasta, spinach and capers in a lemon butter sauce; and pappardelle Bolognese with fresh pasta, traditional meat sauce, Parmesan, Italian parsley and garlic ciabatta toast.

A curated cocktail program along with beer and wine options round out the menu.

“What stands us apart is we’re a scratch kitchen and we’re known for being allergy friendly. It’s a big part of our business. We’ve been able to nail that where the food is phenomenal but also we have a very inclusive offering where you can cater and navigate through the menu the way you need,” CEO John Haggai previously told What Now Philadelphia

Burtons Grill & Bar opened its first location in Hingham, Massachusetts, in 2005 and has since expanded across 10 states, including Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and New Jersey, with a nearby location in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

An official opening date has not yet been announced for the Doylestown location. Visit the Burtons Grill & Bar website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
