The culinary sensation on everyone’s lips is getting ready to make its way into Newark diners’ stomachs. Wonder food hall, the year’s unstoppable restaurant juggernaut, is making its Delaware debut later this year.

The distinctive concept will be entering the Newark dining scene at 100 Grove Lane, as part of The Grove development. Wonder will be bringing the heat to the region this summer; the company’s website states that the Delaware storefront will be opening in June.

Though the food hall has been making intense waves in the Philadelphia metro-area restaurant market this year, Wonder is not entirely new to the scene. Founded by entrepreneur Marc Lore in 2018, the concept strives to reinvent fast-casual dining.

Wonder collects multiple eateries-many from renowned chefs-under one roof. Guests are encouraged to order from as many different restaurants as they please, and every meal will be prepared to order, in house, and featured on one tab.

The food hall, which describes itself as “fast fine dining”, is partnered with several acclaimed chefs, including Marcus Samuelsson and Michael Symon. Wonder is poised to explode across the region; it has several locations currently in development, alongside its existing 35 storefronts.
