Philadelphia’s coffee scene is getting another addition as a popular cafe expands its local footprint.
Madis Coffee Roasters, operated by the Navrosidis family, is opening its fourth location on the ground floor of an apartment building at 210 S. 12th St., according to The Philadelphia Business Journal.
The cafe opened its first location near Drexel University at 3527 Lancaster Ave. in November 2022. The brand later expanded with a second outpost in the Curtis Building and a more recent shop on the ground floor of the Eight Two Eight apartment complex. The new location will mark the company’s third opening in just two years.
Madis Coffee Roasters blends specialty coffee, fresh pastries and Mediterranean-inspired brunch options. The cafe appeals to both coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a drink or a bite.
The coffee menu features a variety of hot and iced beverages.
Hot options include drip coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, Americanos and espresso drinks such as macchiatos and pour-overs. Iced selections mirror the hot menu, with iced lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, Americanos and specialty drinks like iced matcha and chai lattes. Cold brew and nitro cold brew offer a smooth, refreshing alternative.
Breakfast and brunch offerings include French toast with seasonal berries and whipped cream, loaded and classic egg sandwiches, avocado and hummus toasts and croissants. Salads and sandwiches range from fresh greens and roasted vegetable melts to hearty options such as smoked ham, roasted turkey, tuna melts and grilled chicken on sourdough.
Madis Coffee Roasters is targeting a mid-July opening, the outlet reported. Visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
