Delaware donut fans, get ready. Tim Hortons, the Canadian favorite, has big plans for its reentry into the state, reports local media outlet Delaware Online.

Led by franchisee Kashif Mushtaq, the chain has plans to open ten new locations across Delaware over the next five years. While several of the precise locations are yet to be determined, a Dover storefront is currently in the works, and Mushtaq and his team are already workshopping the next eatery. He explains: “There are plans being drawn up for a Newark location right now as well. We’re very excited about establishing the brand here.”

The entrepreneur believes that the quality of Tim Horton’s products help it stand out in the crowded fast-casual landscape. He states: “Tim Hortons truly has more of a premium product line than competitors – better coffee, higher quality donuts – that I think residents…are going to enjoy.”

Since its founding in 1964 in Hamilton, Canada, Tim Hortons has become a global phenomenon. The concept has more than 5,700 storefront worldwide.
