Goodwill appears to be planning a new store near the southeast corner of Gilbert and Germann roads. According to East Valley NOW, the proposed location would sit next to Boot Barn.

Goodwill has not announced an exact address, a construction timeline, or an opening date.

Goodwill was founded in Boston in 1902. Its stores sell donated clothing, furniture, electronics, and other goods, with revenue supporting employment and community programs such as job placement, vocational training, and educational assistance.

Goodwill of Orange County launched ShopGoodwill.com in 1999. More than 135 Goodwill organizations across North America now use the auction site to sell donated items online. The platform lists art, antiques, apparel, jewelry, electronics, and collectibles.

About 85 cents of every dollar earned through the site returns to local groups and their communities.

What Now Phoenix reached out to Goodwill for more information, and this article may be updated as additional details become available.
