The Rush Funplex appears to be expanding its Arizona footprint once again. Plans have been submitted for a new indoor entertainment center near Ellsworth Road and Warner Road in southeast Mesa, according to East Valley Now.
The project would become the company’s second planned Arizona location. As previously reported by What Now Phoenix, The Rush Funplex is also developing a 74,000-square-foot entertainment center in Goodyear, adjacent to the Ballpark Village development.
The proposed Mesa venue would feature many of the attractions available at existing Rush Funplex locations, including go-karts, bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, an arcade, climbing walls, billiards, foam pits, private party rooms, and food service areas.
The company currently operates entertainment centers in Utah, Kansas, and Missouri.
Founded by brothers Matt and Kenny Gertge, The Rush Funplex combines multiple attractions under one roof, allowing guests to purchase activity passes that provide access to many of the venue’s experiences.
Existing locations also offer dedicated spaces for birthday parties, group events, and corporate gatherings.
While no opening timeline has been announced for the proposed Mesa location, the project would continue the company’s expansion into Arizona, where it already has a Goodyear location in development.
