Edna’s Pizzeria is coming to 10933 SE Main Street in downtown Milwaukie, with owner Joram Young confirming to What Now Portland that an October opening is planned. The new pizza parlor will take over a suite in a space that was identified as the perfect spot for a neighborhood pizzeria after Pietro’s Pizza vacated its longtime SE Main Street location in June 2025.
Young knows his way around a pizza kitchen. He previously operated Town, a by-the-slice joint in Los Angeles’ Highland Park neighborhood that built a loyal following before closing in fall 2024. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest, he spent time searching for the right project in the Portland area before landing in Milwaukie, and the fit couldn’t be more natural.
“I’m really excited to get things going and bring some high-quality, naturally leavened NY-style pizza to the neighborhood,” Young told What Now Portland.
At Edna’s, he plans to sell whole pies that are naturally leavened, New York-style, and made with the kind of attention to fermentation and dough craft that has become the hallmark of the new wave of serious pizza makers reshaping the American pizza scene.
The opening adds another compelling piece to what is shaping up to be the most exciting block in Clackamas County. Edna’s Pizzeria joins Babcia Bread, Oak Union Brewing, Sadie’s on Main, Salon Fernweh, Best of Luck Outpost, Bridge City Improv, and Fizz n Sip as confirmed tenants inside the reimagined historic Perry’s Pharmacy Building. This lineup is turning SE Main Street into a great destination for Milwaukie residents.
