What Now Portland spoke to the owner, Zac Webster, who said due to contracting he is currently unable to elaborate on the new concession. However, Traveling Taphouse’s original location will soon reopen in mid-April, with the concession location being considered an extension.
PDX Pipeline describes the Traveling Taphouse being “Currently located in the Boise District of Portland at 4058 N Mississippi Ave, the Traveling Taphouse offers draft beers, craft cocktails and a unique menu by the chefs of Third Culture Kitchen! Now open for weekend brunch starting at 10am. We are an outdoor only location with socially distanced tables, operating out of an old NASCAR trailer we converted into a full bar and food truck.”
For the liquor license for Traveling Taphouse’s upcoming concession, the planned days of operation will be every day from 8 AM to 11:30 PM, based on “PIR events.” This will apply to outdoor operating hours, with food and alcohol service options listed.
For those that are unfamiliar with Portland International Raceway, according to the company’s website, “PIR has events that range from bicycle races to car shows, drag racing, sports cars and motorcycle road racing, motocross, IndyCars, GT Cars and more. PIR is a great location for commercial photography, is the background for movies and television shows shot in Portland, plus we host a huge Holiday Light show, and the largest weekly cruise in America.”
