A local build-your-own Asian-American concept is growing.
Buddha Bowls & Rolls has announced plans for a third location, though details remain limited for now. In a social media post teasing the expansion, ownership wrote, “BIG NEWS 📰 Third location unlocked 🔓 Who wants to come along on our journey of building a new restaurant?”
A video accompanying the announcement shows the team discussing what’s ahead, sharing that the new location is expected to open in 2026. They note that this will be the brand’s first standalone space, located outside of downtown, and designed with more parking—jokingly adding, “no more excuses.”
Founded by Nai Saeteurn and Justin Fong under Full Tilt Hospitality, Buddha Bowls & Rolls first launched in downtown Sacramento in April 2024 before expanding to the California Natural Resources Building the following spring.
The eatery specializes in customizable Asian-American fare, offering build-your-own spring rolls, noodle bowls, rice bowls, and sandwiches, along with drinks like fresh-pressed sugarcane juice, Vietnamese coffee, teas, and cookies. “Buddha Bowls and Rolls celebrates foods and flavors representative of the Asian-American experience,” reads the brand’s website.
