Shake Shack is expanding its footprint throughout California. The brand will open a new restaurant in Elk Grove next month. The fast-casual burger joint will serve its iconic burgers, fries, shakes, and a new West Coast Menu to the Sacramento suburb. The opening will also include a charitable partnership with a local nonprofit.
Shake Shack Arrives in Elk Grove
The new Shake Shack restaurant will open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5. It will be the brand’s 53rd location in the state of California. Located at 8150 Elk Grove Blvd, Suite 110, the restaurant will serve guests from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and till midnight on Friday and Saturday.
The brand will celebrate the grand opening with its fans and new community members. The first wave of guests will receive custom Shake Shack tote bags while supplies last.
On opening day, Shake Shack will donate $1 for each sandwich sold at the new restaurant to the Elk Grove Food Bank Services. The donation is part of Shake Shack’s ‘Stand for Something Good’ initiative.
The nonprofit supports local families facing food insecurity and provides resources for seniors in the area.
Since its beginning, Shake Shack has expanded its operations to become an international restaurant chain. The brand is known for its burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes, and hospitality-focused approach.

Guests visiting the Elk Grove Shack can expect the brand’s full lineup of fan favorites. The menu will feature ShackBurger®, Crinkle Cut Fries, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and hand-spun shakes.
The new restaurant will also serve the recently launched West Coast Menu. The limited-time menu featuring West Coast Burger, West Coast Chicken Sandwich, West Coast Loaded Fries, Spicy Fries with Ranch, and Spicy Cheese Fries with Ranch.
In addition to its permanent menu, Shake Shack regularly introduces seasonal shakes, burgers, and other limited-time specials, giving guests something new to try.
