The Tox Technique, the lymphatic-based body-sculpting chain that has been quietly building a devoted following since its launch in 2019, is opening its first Sacramento-area studio at 2750 E. Bidwell Street, Suite 150, in Folsom’s Broadstone Marketplace, with franchisees Kam Ayapova and Max Visockas targeting an August opening. The new studio will take over the space most recently occupied by Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, which closed last year.

For Ayapova and Visockas, the decision to bring The Tox Technique to Folsom was personal. After discovering the brand themselves, they immediately recognized an opportunity to bring something genuinely different to a community they believe is ready for it.

“We saw an opportunity to bring a unique wellness concept to Folsom,” Ayapova said. “We believe the community values health, innovation, and exceptional customer service, making it the perfect place to introduce The Tox.”

The concept is unlike anything else in the wellness space. The Tox Technique is a 90% hands-on lymphatic-based body sculpting and detox treatment, not a traditional massage, but a proprietary full-body treatment performed by licensed estheticians that works directly with the lymphatic and digestive system to reduce bloating, improve circulation, support metabolism, and help the body naturally detox.

“We’re really making our customers feel beautiful and great from the inside out,” Ayapova told What Now Sacramento. “No one today is really offering a similar treatment to ours.”

Founded by Courtney Yeager and franchising since 2021, The Tox has grown into one of the most talked-about wellness concepts in the country, with studios across New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Phoenix. The Folsom location will be its first in Northern California.

“We’re so excited to be part of this community and bring something so unique to the folks that live here, make them feel refreshed, leaner, lighter, and just really beautiful from the inside out,” Ayapova said.
