Restaurant Claudine has served its final meal on Monday, June 22. The closure brings an end to the restaurant’s four-year run in San Antonio. was part of Carpenter Carpenter Hospitality, a San Antonio-based hospitality group.
Restaurant Claudine Has Said Goodbye
An elevated French-inspired Southern restaurant, Restaurant Claudine, was nestled in the Government Hill neighborhood. The restaurant was featured in an old, grandmother-style historic house.
Operated by Carpenter Carpenter Hospitality, the restaurant focused on a relaxed and vintage atmosphere. The hospitality group also operates Little Em’s Oyster Bar, Nineteen Hyaku, and Beau’s Tiny Diner.
In the closure announcement post, the restaurant team shared, “After four years, Restaurant Claudine has closed its doors.”

The team added, “The hospitality industry is constantly evolving, and so are we. While this chapter has come to a close, our passion for creating memorable dining experiences remains stronger than ever.”
The Story Behind the Restaurant
Even though Restaurant Claudine was only operational for four years, it had built a loyal following in the community. It offered a nostalgic aesthetic with its decor, pastel accents, and French-inspired Southern comfort food.
In the post, the restaurant chain mentioned that this is not a final goodbye. They wrote, “And while Restaurant Claudine’s story ends here, ours does not. We look forward to sharing what’s next in a new, yet familiar neighborhood.”
The team thanked guests, staff, and the community for their support. The closure marks the end of Restaurant Claudine’s four-year presence in San Antonio’s Government Hill neighborhood.
