A fast-growing express car wash platform, QuikTrip, is preparing to expand its presence in San Antonio by planning a new Bubble Bath car wash, according to a permit recently filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The project, listed as QuikTrip Bubble Bath 61724, is planned for 9567 S. Zarzamora St. The filing outlines the construction of a new 4,381-square-foot tunnel car wash.

Construction is expected to begin on January 7, 2027, with completion currently targeted for July 16, 2027. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $500,000.

According to the filing, the development will be privately funded and constructed on private property. QT South, LLC is listed as the property owner, while The McIntosh Group, LLC is serving as the project’s design firm.
