The company’s three new locations are listed as “coming soon” on its website, although exact opening dates have not been announced. The Rancho Bernardo store will serve customers in North County, while the Sorrento Valley and Lemon Grove locations will further expand the company’s footprint across the San Diego region. The Cake House was founded in Vista in 2021 by entrepreneur Daniel Wise to create a more approachable cannabis retail experience. Since opening its first store, the company has grown into a multi-state operator with more than 18 locations across California and Michigan. The three upcoming stores continue that expansion while adding to an already growing presence throughout San Diego County. The company is also planning to open a new location in Riverside.
In addition to the coming soon locations, The Cake House currently operates dispensaries in Vista, Encinitas, Point Loma, Mission Valley, Mankind, and several other California markets.
