California-based fast casual chain MIXT, known for its health-focused offerings, prepares to launch its 21st outlet in Walnut Creek. The newest location will open July 14, 2026, with a range of daily freebies, community activities, and collaborations with neighboring businesses.
MIXT Walnut Creek Opens with Week-Long Events
MIXT is expanding its Bay Area footprint with a new location at 1105 S. California Boulevard in Walnut Creek. The company announced the opening on Instagram. Plans for the Walnut Creek location were first announced earlier this summer.
To celebrate the opening, MIXT will host daily events, giveaways, and promotions throughout the week. Here’s the schedule of opening-week events:
- July 14, 2026 (Tuesday) – On the grand opening day, guests can get a free MIXT canvas tote bag. Guests can personalize their tote bags at a veggie patch station featuring vegetable-themed decorations. The offer is available to the first 100 customers who place in-person orders.
- July 15, 2026 (Wednesday) – The company has partnered with neighboring brands, namely Beyond Yoga, Changes Salon, and TruFusion. Following the collaboration, Walnut Creek locals can get exclusive discounts and certain giveaway prizes from the brands.
- July 16, 2026 (Thursday) – On Thursday, customers who make a purchase at the Walnut Creek location can receive a free MIXT custom-engraved bamboo salad serving set. This limited-time offer is available to the first 100 customers at the Walnut Creek spot who make in-person orders. Purchase of an entrée is another condition on this offer.
- July 17, 2026 (Friday) – Guests can sample the Valkyries Agua Fresca, a specialty beverage created to celebrate MIXT’s partnership with the Golden State Valkyries. Timing for the sampling begins at 12 p.m. One can also get an exclusive MIXT Valkyries sticker.
- July 18, 2026 (Saturday) – Families can participate in the kids’ planting table activity, which is going to be hosted by Sloat Garden Center. The timing is from 12 p.m to 3 p.m. On the same day, a dining promotion called ‘Kids Eat Free’ is set to run the whole day. Guests who purchase an adult entrée will receive one free kids’ meal.
- July 19, 2026 (Sunday) – The company has teamed up with Lottie’s Creamery to offer a complimentary scoop of their best-selling item. The giveaway begins at 1:30 p.m. and continues while supplies last. The limited-time offer is for the first 50 customers placing in-person orders. Purchase of an entrée is necessary.
