The Mexican restaurant El Fogon Taqueria has a liquor license application pending for a new Santa Rosa Address. Currently located at 6650 Commerce Boulevard in Rohnert Park, the eatery appears to be considering opening a new location at 623 4th Street.
The 4th Street address is currently home to El Palomar Mexican Food and neighbors Land and Water Coffee, Carmen’s Bistro and Bar, and Grateful Bagel. Other notable establishments in the vicinity include Russian River Brewing Company, Brew Coffee and Beerhouse, and Ca’Bianca.
El Fogon’s menu items include Mexican food classics like quesadillas, nachos, burritos, tacos, tortas, and gorditas. The taqueria also has a Taco Tuesday Special that offers tacos for only $1.49 each — and on weekends customers can buy barbacoa by the pound.
What Now San Francisco confirmed the new address with the co-owner, Jose Rodriguez, but was unable to obtain the predicted opening date and other pertinent details.
