Butter Pecan Bakeshop is preparing to open a new location in Antioch, at The Crossings Shopping Center. The new location will be owned and operated by local residents and dedicated community members: Dale and Desiree Ingram, the brand’s newly empowered franchisees.
During an interview with WhatNow, the Ingrams explained that their connection to Butter Pecan Bakeshop began with Dale’s enthusiasm for the brand’s cookies. He would drive from the Brentwood, Oakley, and Antioch area to the company’s Pinole location to buy his favorites.
Butter Pecan Bakeshop offers a selection of cookie flavors ranging from classics to seasonal varieties. Its lineup includes Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt, Brown Butter Pecan, Cookies & Cream, Banana Pudding, Oatmeal Raisin Pecan, Dark Chocolate Walnut, Banana Toffee, Strawberries & Cream, Walnut Brownie, Birthday Cake, Tea Cake Cookie, and Pecan Pie. The shop also features monthly flavors, giving customers rotating options alongside its classic offerings.
The Ingrams have lived in the area since 2020 and wanted their business ventures and investments to pour directly into their local community, a vision that Butter Pecan Bakeshop couldn’t wait to make a reality for them through its new franchising opportunities.
Founder Wendell Hunter confirmed that Antioch was already an area with strong customer demand, including customers traveling from Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg, and Antioch to visit the brand’s existing locations.
The cookie shop is scheduled to open October 2nd, and customers can expect the brand’s freshly baked handmade cookies in a variety of childhood and Southern-inspired flavors, served with a smile by warm and friendly team members.
The Ingrams said they are eager to help founder Wendell Hunter continue to pursue Butter Pecan’s mission to “Make the Best Homestyle Cookies & Share Them With the World.”
