According to a recently submitted permit application, a new Chinese restaurant listed as Noodles Fresh is opening in Berkeley.

Coming to 2431 Durant Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Qargo Coffee, Sodoi Coffee Tasting House, and Yogurt Park.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Tom Petersen, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Noodles Fresh is a place to enjoy a leisurely, freshly prepared, (gluten-free, meat, vegan or vegetarian), Chinese noodle plate, noodle soup bowl, or rice plate with a pot of imported Chinese tea, locally produced craft beers on tap, select California wines or sparkling juices. Our patrons value quality ingredients and enjoy their lunch or dinner in a relaxing nature-inspired environment.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
