According to a recently signed lease, the surf-themed California pizza chain Pizza My Heart plans to expand to Fremont.

Coming to the Fremont Hub shopping center at 39281 Fremont Hub, the eatery will land near establishments such as Michaels, Safeway, and T-Mobile.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Pizza My Heart President Chuck Hammers to inquire about the location, however, he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, founded in 1981 on Capitola Beach, Pizza My Heart now has more than 25 locations throughout California and plans to continue expanding its footprint.

On the menu are specialty pizzas, vegan and vegetarian pizzas, pizza by the slice, and a build-your-own pizza option. There are also sides and snacks — like chicken wings, bread stix, and salads — and desserts including a chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon roll style pizza.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow Pizza My Heart on Facebook for additional updates.
