According to the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Brewing Co. is opening a massive new space in San Francisco’s Showplace Square.
Taking over an 18,680-square-foot building at 100 Hooper Street — an address formerly home to both Seven Stills Brewery and Distillery — the brewery will be neighbored by establishments such as Boba Guys, Dumpling Time, and Saap Ver Damn Good! Thai street food.
“It will help us expand our reach regionally across California,” the company’s co-owner, Josh Leavy, tells the Journal.
For readers who are unfamiliar with San Francisco Brewing Co., the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Established in 2012 by Josh Leavy, San Francisco Brewing Co. is a craft brewing company that brews beer in small batches to offer its customers flavorful and fresh beer.”
“Located in iconic Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco Brewing Co. restaurant, brewery and outdoor beer garden is a place where guests can sample, discover, learn, and enjoy. The comfortable and interactive space is complete with fire pits outside, numerous TVs to watch sports, and interactive games available for guests to explore. We specialize in small-batch and experimental brewing and serve the very best of San Francisco-inspired pub food,” the statement continues.
What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with the concept’s co-owner, Jennifer Leavy, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
