Anchorhead Coffee is planning a location at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), according to a Port of Seattle announcement.

The selection was part of a broader announcement involving new dining and retail options at the airport. The Port said construction will take place in phases, with work on some of the newly awarded spaces expected to begin in 2027.

The airport cafe follows Anchorhead’s recent expansion plans for a West Seattle location. What Now Seattle reported in July that the company was preparing to open at 4233 SW Alaska St., joining its cafes in Downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, and Pike Place Market.

Founder Jake Paulson started Anchorhead in 2013 after working as a touring audio engineer. The company roasts its own coffee and serves espresso drinks, cold brew, and teas.

The Port did not provide an opening date or construction schedule for the Anchorhead location. What Now Seattle reached out to Anchorhead Coffee, and this article may be updated as more information becomes available.
