It’s a great year for International Plaza, as the mall adds a whole range of retail brands to its roster, including several making their Tampa Bay debut. So far this year, What Now has covered planned openings for Banana Republic, Roberto Coin, and Kendra Scott—to name just a few.

To all these can be added the legendary Dolce & Gabbana, which will soon bring its “timeless luxury” to Tampa Bay.

Dolce & Gabbana’s collection includes apparel for women, men, and children, along with a selection of bags. You’ll also find shoes, sunglasses, and accessories, along with watches and jewelry. There’s also a Casa selection ranging from throw pillows to bedding and duvets.

This month, Dolce & Gabbana is highlighting two bags: the Sicily and the My Sicily: “two bags, one identity.”

“Launched in 2009, the Sicily takes its name from the land that, more than any other, has helped shape Dolce & Gabbana’s creative vision,” says the brand’s website. “Inspired by Sicilian traditions and aesthetics, it stands out for its structured silhouette and soft lines, defined by details that have become distinctive signatures over time.”

Then, there’s the My Sicily: “Introduced in 2025, the My Sicily marks the evolution of this iconic design. While preserving the defining elements of the original model, it embraces a softer construction and more compact proportions. Its name reflects the personal connection between the bag and its owner, conceived as an accessory for everyday life. The new tuck-in closure, padlock-inspired clasp, top handle and removable shoulder strap enhance its versatility, combining functionality with refinement.”

Dolce & Gabbana is working toward a Fall 2026 opening at International Plaza.
