One of the nation’s favorite burger concepts is getting ready to help make sure Reisterstown Road Plaza visitors with a passion for burgers and fries start 2027 off on the right foot. Helmed by franchise heavy-hitter Rockham 5G, Five Guys will be bringing its popular cuisine to a newly built storefront in the area early next year.

The arrival of Five Guys is poised to be a vital force in the planned revitalization of the shopping plaza. According to I95 Business, ground was broken earlier this spring on the fast-casual eatery’s new 2,400 square foot home.

Five Guys should be customer-ready in the first quarter of 2027. Once opened, the restaurant will take on about 50 employees.

Rockham 5G, the franchise team behind Five Guys’ upcoming Reisterstown Road Plaza location-as well as many other storefronts across the Northeast- is extremely experienced at ensuring the launch of successful storefronts. Director of operations in Maryland Thomas Russell kindly confirmed the new location with What Now DC and provided a bit of insight into the team’s experience-and what it has on the horizon.

“We’re the largest franchise on the East Coast and one of the top 3 in the country.” he explains. “We have of 95 percent of Jersey, all of Delaware, everything east of Philly.”

While this is already an impressive portfolio, neither Rockham 5G nor Five Guys at large are planning to slow down. Russell states that Rockham 5G hopes to open 7 new locations this year and that Five Guys plans to add 700 stores to its roster over the next 5 to 7 years.

Baltimore residents who simply cannot wait to enjoy Five Guys cuisine can stop into Rockham 5G’s recently opened 600 E. Pratt Street location. That storefront opened its doors on Monday and is on hand to feed hungry visitors from 10 am to 11 pm daily.
