DC diners, get ready to bask in the flavors of the Mediterranean. Charcuteria, “a modern Mediterranean-inspired market and wine bar bringing authentic flavors, fine wines, and artisanal charcuterie to Washington, DC’s U Street Corridor”, has a liquor license application in the works and will be customer-ready later this summer.
The eatery will be setting up shop at 2104 Vermont Avenue, N.W. The paperwork Charcuteria has filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration shows that the restaurant will be able to accommodate up to 27 customers indoors and plans to have a summer garden with seating for up to 26.
Charcuteria’s noted hours of operation are Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm, closed on Monday, 9 am to 10 pm Tuesday through Thursday, and 9 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Charcuteria’s menu will offer something to appeal to every appetite. The website explains: “Our menu celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Italy, Spain, France, and Greece. Each dish is crafted with premium imported ingredients and authentic Mediterranean flavors. Whether you’re here for a quick lunch, aperitivo hour, or a leisurely evening, we have something special for you.” Guests will be able to choose from options including charcuterie boards, small plates, and sandwiches.
DC foodies won’t have to wait too much longer to stop into Charcuteria for a bite and a sip; a countdown clock on the official website states: “Pre-launch to-go business and catering available August 2026”.
