Dolan Uyghur Restaurant Readies Fifth Location

The DMV chain has chosen Arlington for the home of its next storefront.

A small but mighty DMV chain is continuing its admirable mission of spreading the authentic and delicious cuisine of central Asia across the region. Dolan Uyghur Restaurant, which is “committed to preserving a wide variety of dishes that capture the Uyghur people’s unique flavors and culture” is opening a new Arlington location in the not-too-distant future. 

 

Details are relatively sparse on the concept’s upcoming fifth location. Owner Hamid Kerim announced the storefront via a Facebook post seeking potential staff members. The May 25 statement was direct and to the point: “Dolan Uyghur Restaurant is excited to announce the opening of our fifth location in Arlington! We are currently hiring waiters and waitresses to join our growing team.”

 

Readers might note the absence of some salient details-to whit, a specific address. The information is not presently available, nor is it reflected on the company’s website. What Now DC has reached out to ownership for further information and will update readers as it becomes available. 

 

While an opening timeline is not publicly available, the fact that the restaurant is hiring bodes well for Dolan Uyghur to be customer ready relatively soon.

 

Dolan Uyghur currently has 2 locations open in Virginia-one in Chantilly and another in Falls Church. The chain also has a location in Rockville, Maryland and one in Washington, DC. The restaurant has made a powerful impact on the DMV’s dining scene, thanks to its dedication to authentic cuisine prepared freshly. The website explains: “On our menu, you’ll find hand-pulled noodles, chicken stew, handmade dumplings, and many more delicious dishes. Our chef prepares each dish with fresh, ingredients, authentic recipes, and pride for our culture.”
