There’s an exciting arrival on Maryland’s horizon, one certain to inspire enthusiasm in local oenophiles thirsty for a new place to enjoy a glass of wine. Metropolitan Hospitality Group is bringing Cove, an all-day cafe and wine bar, to Chevy Chase as part of the brand’s introduction to Maryland, reports wtop.
Cove will be making its debut at 5471 Wisconsin Avenue as part of The Collection. Not only will it be part of Metropolitan Hospitality Group’s introduction to Maryland at large, it will be the first ever iteration of the brand-new concept. While the wine bar does not have an opening date yet, The Collection’s website states it will begin greeting customers the the fourth quarter of this year, suggesting future visitors do not have an excessive wait between now and enjoying their first glass of wine.
While an abundance of information is not yet available about Cove, Metropolitan Hospitality Group president Matthew Carlin believes the cafe and bar will allow the team to make a strong opening statement to future Maryland customers, saying: “Bringing…an entirely new concept to The Collection gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce the full range of what MHG can offer.”
