A dynamic DC-area dining duo are preparing to turn the Line DC hotel into an unmissable restaurant experience. Danny Lee and Scott Drewno of Fried Rice Collective are taking over culinary operations at the hotel, with plans to eventually introduce a new eatery, reports Washingtonian.

Drewno and Lee are following in an impressive line of chefs who have managed dining at the 1770 Euclid Street establishment. Spike Gjerde and Erik Bruner-Yang have previously helmed the Line DC’s kitchen, and Lee and Drewno are very equipped to fill those lauded shoes.

Fried Rice Collective has launched concepts including Chiko and Anju. There is little known yet about what restaurant they might be bringing to the hotel-whether it is an established eatery or something newly created for the location. Similarly, an opening timeline is not presently available.

Drewno, Lee, and the Line DC Hotel’s culinary focus is currently on “operational leadership and collaboration with the existing team.”
