New Orleans-style comfort food franchise Huckleberry’s is headed “from the bayou to the bay” this June with the opening of its newest location at 4391 Treat Boulevard in Concord, CA, according to a press release.
The California-based restaurant, which bills itself as “southern cookin’ with a California twist,” already has seventeen locations throughout the state (and eight in Northern California alone), and apparently has a handful of locations in the works along with the new spot in Concord.
“Our franchisees did a fantastic job during the pandemic and are emerging stronger than ever,” says VP of marketing Reem Fahoum. “Huckleberry’s achieved record-breaking sales in March of 2021, surpassed that mark in April and are well on their way to exceeding it again in May. It’s just been amazing.”
Clearly, Huckleberry’s Gold Medal Chicken and Waffles are in high demand. Or maybe it’s their shrimp po’boy that has everyone up and out of their houses, racing for the bayou-themed joint. Either way, congrats to Huckleberry’s. We’re sure Concord will welcome you with open arms (and rumbling stomachs).
