The Shop is preparing to launch its second San Diego restaurant. A sister restaurant to the Rancho Bernardo restaurant The Shop: Pizza + Cocktails, the latest location will replace Mr. Moto Pizza on Cable Street in Ocean Beach.
Co-Owner Brett Herring tells What Now San Diego the new restaurant will be called The Shop: Pizza + Wine and will feature an updated beverage program from the original concept. An alum of the Bay Area’s Little Star Pizza, Herring opened The Shop alongside brother Cole Herring in 2020.
The Shop: Pizza + Wine will feature pasta, salads, sandwiches, and the West Coast Deep Dish Pizza that The Shop is known for plus an expansive selection of craft wine and beer.
“Our wine list will be composed of small wineries, all consciously produced (organic, natural, biodynamic, or sustainable) – available by the glass, flight or bottle,” Herring shares via email.
